VfL Wolfsburg reaches the Champions League semi-finals
The Wolves defeated Paris Saint-Germain in a thrilling quarter-final match.
Wolfsburg will now face Arsenal in the semi-finals.
VfL Wolfsburg booked a Womens Champions League semi-final meeting with Arsenal after clinching a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals.
The Wolves took the lead in the 17th minute through Ewa Pajor, but PSG leveled the scores just before the half-hour mark thanks to a goal from Marie-Antoinette Katoto.
Wolfsburg regained the lead in the second half through Jill Roord, but PSG hit back again through Kadidiatou Diani.
However, it was Wolfsburg who had the last laugh, with Tabea Wassmuth scoring the winning goal in the 86th minute.
The Wolves will now face Arsenal in the semi-finals, with the first leg taking place in Wolfsburg on April 22.
